Dr Elizabeth Dillon

Dr Dillon undertook advanced training in Paediatric Radiology at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children before moving to London for two years to gain further experience at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.

She is a reviewer for the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology and has co-authored several peer-reviewed journal articles.

Dr Jay Ives

Dr Ives completed a Body Imaging fellowship at McMaster University in 1986 and a Neuroradiology (including Neuro-Intervention) at the University of Western Ontario in 1987.

Dr Ives has previously worked at Royal Perth Hospital where he was employed as the Director of MRI services between 1993-1995. Following this he joined SKG Radiology to set up and run their MRI services.

Dr Heino Kaard

Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Dr Kaard has worked as a consultant Radiologist at SKG and Albany Hospital

  • Mammography, Breast Ultrasound and Breast Biopsies

Dr Rajesh Khujneri

Dr. Khujneri completed his Radiology specialty training at KMC Manipal India in 1992. After completing MRI training in Mumbai, Dr Khujneri immigrated to Kenya to establish the first MRI facility in East Africa. He was appointed as Hon Lecturer with University of Nairobi, Kenya. He undertook a MRI fellowship in UKRV Germany and neuroradiology training at UPMC Pittsburgh, USA.

Dr Khujneri completed his FRCR(UK) and FRANZCR(AUS) in 2006 and 2012 respectively. He worked as consultant at various hospitals in UK including, St Georges University Hospital, London and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, London. Within Australia, Dr Khujneri worked with the I-Med network in NSW and private centres in Perth. He established the prostate MRI facility at Oceanic Imaging, St John of God Hospital Murdoch and performed the first MRI guided prostate biopsy in conjunction with Urologists.

Dr Ashok Kumar

Dr. Ashok Kumar completed radiology specialty training at the Royal Perth Hospital in 1984. He has worked as a consultant radiologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital since 1986 and served as RANZCR WA Branch chairman between 2000-2004.

Dr Kumar’s areas of interest include:

  • Interventional radiology
  • General radiology
  • MRI

Dr Johanna Lagerberg

Dr. Jo Lagerberg graduated in 1977 from medical school at Monash University in 1977. She undertook specialist training in obstetrics in London and returned to Western Australia as part of the physicians training program in Perth.

She concluded specialist radiology training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 1984 and has since worked in both private and public hospital radiology departments.

  • General radiology

Dr Raghu Malghan

Dr. Malghan completed his radiology specialty training at JJM hospital under Bangalore University India in 2002 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Radiology UK (FRCR) in 2012.

Dr. Malghan has also completed further sub specialty fellowships in Chest and Abdominal Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital, Ontario, Canada from 2007-2009 and a further body imaging fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth, Australia in 2013.

Dr Long Nguyen

Dr Nguyen completed his medical degree from the University of Western Australia and worked as a junior doctor at Royal Perth Hospital. Prior to his admission into radiology subspecialty training, Dr Nguyen spent a year as a Research Fellow in Diagnostic Imaging, whose role was to update the Diagnostic Imaging Pathways website – An online evidence based clinical decision support tool and educational resource for appropriate diagnostic imaging. Dr Nguyen completed his radiology specialty training in WA in 2014.

In 2015 Dr Nguyen also completed a further subspecialty fellowship in both Chest and Abdominal Imaging at Royal Perth Hospital. He has been has been awarded the RANZCR/IRQN Quality Improvement Poster Prize in 2008 and the Philips Healthcare Australasia Scientific Paper Prize for the best Radiology Oral Presentation at the RANZCR Annual Scientific Meeting in 2009.

Dr Himanshu Pandey

Dr. Pandey completed his radiology specialty training at King Georges Medical University, Lucknow, India in 2008.

Dr. Pandey has also completed further sub-specialty imaging fellowships in Abdominal Imaging in 2011-2012 and Musculoskeletal Imaging in 2012-2013 at McGill University Montreal, Canada

Dr Stephen Swift

Dr Swift graduated from medical school at the University of Western Australia in 1980. Dr. Swift then went on to complete his radiology speciality training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 1987.

Before joining Insight Clinical Imaging Dr. Swift was a partner and consultant radiologist at SKG radiology.
